Season 2024-2025 Presentation Night Winners and Photos

The evening began with a special featured award presented to First Team Manager, Chris Herbst. Len Loverage embarked on a journey to America 60 years ago to coach a youth football team. His exceptional coaching skills saw the team rise through the leagues, eventually reaching the finals of a prestigious American league cup. Although they narrowly missed out on victory in the final, Len's impact on the team was undeniable. After many years of dedicated coaching, Len returned to England, where he was honoured with a top coaching award before his departure. Now aged 85 and living in Lyme Regis, Len recently contacted our Chairman, Adrian Scadding, expressing his wish to attend our presentation night. He wanted to personally present his coaching trophy to Chris Herbst, in recognition of Chris's outstanding work in turning around the fortunes of the Bridport First Team after several challenging years across different leagues. **Awards were as follows:** **Mens Development Squad** Highlight finished 2nd in Division 6 of the Dorset Football League in their first year as a team Home Player - Levi Phillips Away Player - Brad Wilkinson Players Player - Fred Battersby Managers Player - Ryan Gay Top Goal Scorer - Ali Kamara (22) --- **Ladies Reserves Squad** Highlight finished 7th in first ever season in the Dorset Women's Recreational league Home Player - Poppy Coutts Away Player - Tegan Parr Players Player - May Cornwell Top Goal Scorer - May Cornwell (10) Managers Player - Danielle McLean --- **Mens Reserves Squad** Highlight - Vital is supporting first team progress.
