Match Report
It was the opening game of the season for the newly formed Bridport u18s and what a great opening it was.
Everything they have practiced in training came to fruition in a match they dominated from start to finish.
All the goals coming from crosses in open play, corners and free kicks.
Theo Smith and Theo Poole scored the goals in the first half after two great assists before conceding late on to go in at half time 2-1 up.
After the break it was Archie Tait who benefited from the free flowing attacking football netting himself a well deserved second half hat trick in a man of the match performance.
“A superb all round performance from the boys today, with every one of them putting in a match winning shift and a great start to season” said manager Matt Tait
Bridport u18s are next in action with a home game vs Grange fc next Sunday 13th September
